Lena Truusoot
Interior Architect & Founder
Lena was born in Stockholm, Sweden. After studying interior design at Parson’s school of design, NYC. She gained experience by setting up her own interior design business in Sydney, Australia - INNE Furniture. With numerous contracts including rolling out high end furniture showrooms for SPACE in Australia and southeast Asia, she moved back to Europe and settled in Verbier, Switzerland. She draws her inspiration from the mountains and nature - her playground.
Close by Design
At our core, we're a team of two, joined by a close knit group of people we work with day to day. Together, our skills span interior design, renovations, architecture, creative direction, visualisation and property developments.
Between us we speak various languages, share lunch, coffee, unpack deliveries and drink Fendant.

Who we work with
We work with a established group of local carpenters, craftspeople, builders and specialists, alongside makers and suppliers across Europe. We stay involved throughout - from the first drawings and material choices through to site decisions, deliveries and final details.
